Spotlight on Finance

The Finance Department is located in the lower level of Iris Park Commons. Team members include: Tom Henry, Chief Financial Officer (CFO); Sherri Friedrich, Controller; Amy Wallace, Senior Accountant; Lenssa Lemma, Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable and Brandon Orgeman, Senior Accountant. Brandon is the newest member to the team and started at Episcopal Homes last month. 

 

Brandon has extensive experience at Cub Foods in their accounting department. He is currently in school for accounting but has a degree in computer graphics animation. He enjoys pondering things that people rarely ponder, supernatural movies and collects musical instruments. Brandon’s Mom would describe him in regular Mom terms; she is extremely proud of him.

 

Contact Brandon with any accounts payable (AP) questions, credit card problems, meal card issues, common accounting/ financial forms (example, ST-3, W-9), mail processing for 490 Lynnhurst Ave East, vendor files or if you don’t know who to contact in finance.  

 

Lenssa and Amy do monthly accounting for all 14 companies. Lenssa handles payments to vendors and invoicing. Amy handles change for the Cafe and Bistro. 

 

Sherri leads the accounting department and makes sure revenue and expenditure classifications are appropriate.

 

Here are some fun facts about the department:

• They handle 800 to 1,000 billing invoices a month

• They cut 500 AP checks to vendors a month

• They process 15,000 transactions a month to record all expenses for financial statements
